Well, I arrived back in Hartford yesterday afternoon. Today the tour of the carousel museum continues while I pay bills, do laundry, schedule appointments and otherwise catch up from being away for two weeks.
The museum has a lot of carousel posters and material about the creators of the animals.
The weather forecast is lousy for today. Finding something interesting to photograph might be a challenge.
Great carousel series, Jack.
ReplyDeleteRegarding your previous posts on Motswari:
I've been to the neighbour MalaMala Game Reserve some years ago. Actually, I did a few safaris in several African countries and I could do it for the rest of my life without being bored one single day! With the exception of Ivory Coast I always spotted the Big Five. :-) I just love your wildlife photos, especially the leopard shot which is absolutely brilliant!
I'm enchanted by all beautiful details!

ReplyDeleteWelcome home, Jack! I loved all the captures from your trip! I'm also glad to see more of your carousel horses! They are so colorful and beautiful! I loved to ride on them when I was a little girl -- I know, I know, how can I remember that far back!!! Your photos must have stirred up my old brain!!

ReplyDeleteThis makes me want to jump in the picture with Mary P. and then enjoy the horserace! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI was enjoying your African safari shots. But these horsies are nice too. :) Hope you get caught up with the mundane things soon. Must be hard to come back to an ordinary life after all those adventures. :)
