Photo of the Year 2011

The reflection image of Johnny reading at the Hartford Public Library was my personal favorite photograph from 2011.  From the number and strength of comments, it might have been my readers' favorite, too.  It appeared on November 4.

On the first day of each month, City Daily Photo bloggers post photos illustrating a theme.  For January 1, the theme is "Photo of the Year 2011."  Click here to view thumbnails for all participants

  5. I remember this one, fantastic reflections, but with so many interesting little montages, like the group walking under the arbour in the left hand corner, the buildings in the right. Excellent choice for today. I hope you felt better than I did when you woke up this morning Jack!!

  26. I like this, too. And I know how you did it! :-)

Shot 88 today. Going to be very cold for a couple of days but I'll probably play anyway. Starting to hit a bit better - four months from surgery!

    How are you hitting 'em?

  27. Jack, this is bloody brilliant. Did you assemble this from several photos or is there a painted wall in the background and a pool or polished table in the foreground? A picture of the year to be proud of.
