Be Careful Out There

New Year's Eve is a time for a parties and too much drinking.  The police will be out in force running sobriety checks.

Be careful out there.  You want to see and enjoy 2012.

Happy New Year!

  1. Good advice about driving. Julie and I will not have a problem, we are having a few people over for an evening of gourmet cooking. Fortunately, the group includes some very accomplished chefs, such as Sharon of Phoenix Daily Photo, and a friend of ours who is a lawyer but also a cook book author.

  7. After reading the precautions in the daily newspaper and your blog, I'm having second thoughts about going out tonight.

Happy New Year to you. Thank you for being such a good blogger friend; I'm certainly happy that I found your blog. May the coming year bless you with good health, prosperity, generosity of spirit, and a life filled with laughter and good cheer!

  8. in answer to your question about two cats in the house, jack...the house is big but not big enough for nicole and any other cat. nicole is our daughter's cat and when she comes visiting our beloved boy goes to stay with a dear friend.

  15. It will be a quiet New Years for me, but I'm not a party going broad anymore -- been there, done that! I will however catch a glimpse from the roof of the fireworks from the Space needle and that's always exciting! Hope you and your family have a terrific and safe Happy New Year, Jack!

  17. Happy New Year Jack. I stayed at home, had a small glass of wine, watched the amazing fireworks in London on TV. I'm off to bed now, contented. Thankful for 2011 and hopeful for 2012.

  21. Just the sight of this intersection gives me the chills. Why, after more than 40 years, is this still so horribly engineered? The last update - for Blue Back - actually made it worse.
