Out of the Jurisdiction: Columbus

Two weeks ago I was in Columbus, Ohio, for two days.  German Village is a wonderful historic district immediately to the south of the downtown.  The residents have a real sense of community and take holiday decorations seriously!  When I worked in Columbus, my house was around the corner from the house with the green awning in the top photo.

  12. Such a nice ways to brighten up the autumn/winter landscape. . .and even the sidewalks are brick! Is this much brick common in Columbus, or is it confined more to some neighborhoods?

  19. Red brick house and red bows. A very cheap and effective way of decorating.
