Reminds me of a Clint Eastwood movie, The Bridges of Madison County. Didn't care for the book, but Eastwood is a film genius. Always love his musical sound tracks. He'd probably admire this photo!!
My gosh Jack, you have a stunning group of photos from Old Sturbridge Village. They would sell remarkably well. You have created fabulous pieces of art! Just remarkable color and scenes.
«Louis» always enjoys seeing covered bridges. A very welcome contribution to <a href="http://bayphoto.blogspot.com/2011/10/serie-du-pont-de-dimanche-lxxxiv.html'>Sunday Bridges</a>, Jack!

ReplyDeleteAutumn is very beautiful in Old Sturbridge, your bridge is definitely way prettier than mine today Jack.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous wooden bridge wrapped in autumn beauty! Perfect for Sunday Bridges meme, Jack!
ReplyDeleteNice way to finish Old Sturbridge. The fall colors set off the bridge very nicely. And a New England covered bridge is always a winner!
ReplyDeleteI love covered bridges. I think it's because I've never lived in a place that had them. They're sort of mysterious to me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful scene. I wonder how many times it's been painted by various artists. The colors of the leaves are simply gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is strange again, only the last photo showing up and the feed not working...
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful, postcard photo. So calm and serene and beautiful.
I have always wanted to see and photograph covered bridges. This is a really nice shot!

ReplyDeleteFor someone who will not see fall colors this year, this is eye candy. Lovely covered bridge, Jack.
ReplyDeleteI would really like to see one of these bridges...
ReplyDeleteOne of my favourite type of bridge.
ReplyDeleteWonderful bridge! You have a lot more fall colour than we do - it seems to be a strange year here for the reds. Have really enjoyed this series Jack!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place! Thank you for your tour.
ReplyDeleteOur fall colors are peaking now... many trees are bare already... lovely shot here!
ReplyDeleteClassic - covered bridge in fall- sorry can't match that.
ReplyDeleteFine photo, Jack. Very fine.

ReplyDeleteBridges Of Madison County pops into mind. My all time favorite movie. Ever.
ReplyDeleteThat covered bridge is just too quaint. We don't have anything like that where I live and I have never seen one. Someday I WILL travel to New England!
