  1. Yikes! That top Halloween photo is scary, Jack!

  2. Connecticut was clobbered by a snow storm while the leaves were still on the trees. Trees and limbs down everywhere. 800,000 without power, heat or Internet. It is a mess. I have posts lined up from before the storm but I won't be visiting you for a while.

  4. Napa Valley...jealous, jealous!

After a restless night, I feel very much like the "individual" in your top photo!

  5. The top photo has what Johnny Carson said he wanted on his epitaph, his cutaway remark to many commercial breaks: "I'll be right back."

  6. We saw on TV that east USA was under snow..Bad year for your country!
I like Halloween decorations, here people don't celebrate it, so it's hard to find or even to see something like your first pic!

  11. Marvelous, fun post for Halloween, but you are going through a weather nightmare in Connecticut!! I do hope all is well with you and your family! I was thinking about you when watching the news last night. The pictures from Hartford were frightening! Holding good thoughts for all of you!

  18. Okay, I just read your comment about the snow. That's what I was afraid of after reading the stories in the paper. Hope you're OK and that things get back to normal soon!

  19. Like the others are saying, that first one is very scary. Very "Thirller-esque."

  20. I love decorations, even if they're cheesy. It's nice to see people are getting into the "spirit". ;)
