Artists in the Rose Garden

This weekend is Rose Weekend in Elizabeth Park.  Many of the roses are approaching their peak.  In advance of the crowds that will be there this weekend, artists and photographers visited the park this week.

  10. Oh, it looks like a magical garden!

It's funny-- early on in spring our flowers are so much farther ahead than yours, and then zoom! yours surpasses ours. Our roses are barely beginning to bloom now.

  12. The demographics of the group are a bit skewed to the older generation! Hope a lot of younger people come out for the weekend - it looks lovely.

  13. I don't know how to paint or draw, but when I see beautyful gardens , I would like to be able to do that, like those two ladies..

  14. And you were amongst them as a photographer artist yourself.

The white and pink hats are such a perfect match for the roses...
