Weekend Reflections: Bushnell Park

Bushnell Park is a big park in the center of the downtown, just below the Connecticut State Capitol.  The 1990 polished metal sculpture, "Harmony" by Charles O. Perry, is set in a pond near Jewell Street.

When my daughter Susie was guest photographer in January, she showed a winter photo of Harmony.

Please go here to see other Weekend Reflections.

I will be away from April 8 through the 16th, but I have scheduled posts to be shown here during that time. While traveling, I should be able to read any comments you leave on this blog, but I will not have much time to respond to your comments or to leave comments on your blogs. I'll see you all again when I get back!

  1. I hope that you have a grand time wherever you are going! Nothing better than a trip which refreshes and revitalizes! Although I love traditional/classical art, I find many contemporary pieces wonderfully creative. Love this one!

  18. My goodness, you captured a stunning photo this week. Love the skyscraper with the bell tower on the one side and the curved building on the other. Then these is that fabulous sculpture in the water. “Harmony” is a perfect name for it. The reflection of the curving metal is amazing. It makes me think of a Japanese fan but out of metal instead of beautiful hand painted paper.
