Alexander Calder's Stegosaurus highlights a small park lying between Hartford City Hall and the Wadsworth Atheneum. With the construction taking place at the art museum, this park is easy to overlook these days.
So, I raised the curtain and show it to you here.
What a great Calder and in a very nice setting. I had a work assignment in Chicago for 2 1/2 years and this bings back pleasant memories of that the giant Calder that sits in front of the Post Office in the Chicago Loop.
ReplyDeleteQuite contrasting!

I love the splash of color. It's nice when cities get street art for everyone to enjoy.
