This is another beautiful house that has been largely unnoticed by passers-by during the summer because of the grand old trees that obscure the summertime view.
Now that the leaves have fallen, we can see this house's beauty until May, when the trees will leaf out again.
Gorgeous! This one should be seen!
ReplyDeleteOne GREAT thing about this time of year is all those bare limbs. :) So much is revealed. This is a lovely old home and deserves to be seen.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good example of something that deserves to be seen. However, I have noted on occasion that some things are better left unseen, hidden by summer's flora!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your very nice comments, Jack. Much appreciated!
Beautiful! I love these older homes. Must be nice to live in one. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, it is beautiful! It's funny, you don't see many homes obscured by trees around here, because sunlight is such a hot commodity. On our none-too-frequent sunny days, everyone wants sunlight flooding through their windows!
ReplyDeleteRe your comment on Ocala: Yes, the food is generally quite excellent at the Longhorn...this is a very popular chain in Florida (and Texas)...
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. That sucker is HUGE. I'm sure the current residents enjoy the quiet and separation provided by the leaves, but I'm enjoying the view.
ReplyDeleteAll of the houses you have shown are just lovely and it is nice that the leaves have fallen so you can get a better view! My daughter has a pond behind her house that you would never know was there until the leaves fall off the trees and it magically appears for the winter.
ReplyDeleteYou are surrounded by many nice houses.
ReplyDeleteWhat about making a book.....
Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos. They are great!
I'm dying to know how many square feet this sucker is. Never mind the numbers, you can tell this place is huge. Now I'm dying to know what it would cost to buy. I know, I know, one doesn't ask such questions in polite company. But I think it.
ReplyDeleteAmazing , a post card indeed! Charming facade and so beautiful architecture!
ReplyDeleteLéia
I think this may be the house, with some modernization and tweaking involved!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing!
