A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida and southern New England and other places he goes.
This is such a warm photo! Really nice, Jack.Regarding your comment on the role of Portugal in WWII:Salazar, the dictator, kept the country neutral, therefore this was paradise for the European royalty in exile, also for those who want to leave for America and... German spies. Lisbon was known as the 'Capital of Espionage'. Amazing stories took place here and many novels have been written.Check the Wiki page if you like: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portugal_in_World_War_II
No wonder this place is called "light" (Luce in italian); look at all those bright , warm golden colors! It's so welcoming!
Beautiful colors in this one. How'd you get the building to change color for the fall? The name of the bar, you forgetful old man, was Cheers! Jeez. It's been nice and cool here at night and in the mornings and now I'm off to try my hand at golfs again...the operative word is "try."
'Indian summer' weather is the best, but autumn is pretty good also. Love the row of yellow umbrellas Jack, looks like a really inviting spot. We're gearing up for summer here and I'm already dreading it!

Hot colours for hot weather. I would enjoy sitting under one of those umbrellas in the shade.

Wonderful colors and light, Jack. In this atmosphere the food must taste good.
Oh, and what do you know about Ocalan's posteriors? Sheesh. I'll bet you've got as many fat-asses up thataway as we have down here. Maybe. Perhaps. Possibly. Maybe not. Who knows?
You are hinting at autumn again in this shot. What a fun scene this is and looks a bit like Europe. I love the line of hanging plants.Bises,Genie
I'd love to sit out there on a day like that!
WE have had one or two warm days of late.
