Seven rooms in the Bruce Museum display exhibits about natural cycles that shaped the land. This is one exhibit about glaciers, the slow-moving masses of snow and ice that flow over land. Alpine glaciers are frozen rivers of ice, slowly flowing under their own weight down mountainsides and into valleys.
Moving at a glacial pace is the very definition of slow.
