I like to show something relating to Abraham Lincoln on his birthday, February 12.
Lincoln was a healer for a nation torn apart. We could use a healer these days.
This is a 1947 bust by Jo Davidson, at the New Britain (Connecticut) Museum of American Art.
Jo Davidson was a fine sculptor. She caught Lincoln's character.
