A heavy snow storm was predicted for Sunday, upsetting plans to fly back to Naples. So, I am in Connecticut for a few more days.
The Ridgefield house is high on a ridge, looking down into a preserve through which a branch of the Silvermine River flows. With the leaves off the trees, a few inches of snow on the ground, and snowflakes falling, the preserve is peaceful. I see deer footprints, but no deer.
A bit like Winter. I met a roe deer couple in the forest behind my house a couple of days ago.
ReplyDeleteSorry your trip south was interrupted, but hope you can relax and just enjoy the snow. I get to run my snowblower for the first time today.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have wanted to miss that view....
ReplyDeleteMy kind of weather.
