Clyde Butcher has been called the next Ansel Adams by Popular Photography magazine.
I wonder if I still have a poster of his art...mainly clouds which were done so beautifully. Need to check out that poster tube again.
ReplyDeleteButcher makes beautiful prints of the Everglades. Good to see some of his work. It reminds me of photographer Solomon Butcher, a Nebraska photographer who documented the settlement of the Nebraska prairie from 1886 to 1912. The Nebraska Historical Society has his collection of 3,300 glass plate photos.
ReplyDeleteVery dramatic.
