Frida Kahlo

The Naples Botanical Garden has a show honoring the Mexican painter, Frida Kahlo.

Scattered around the garden were large figures drawn from her works.  Butterfly, hummingbird, parrot.

Frida Kahlo and her husband Diego Rivera lived in a house painted in rich blue and dark terra cotta.
There were informative displays concentrated in this area.

"I paint flowers so they will not die."

  1. I would love walking through this garden. I've always been a fan of Frida. She was a great artist, but had a hard life.

  4. I'd love to see that exhibit. We visited Kahlo and Rivera's house in Mexico City years ago.
