Baker Museum has four permanent installations from the Dale Chihuly studio.
One is Persian Seaform Ceiling, which spans the length of an entire corridor on the third floor, sending vivid colorful patterns dancing across the walls and floors below as light filters in from above.
People must walk along the length of that corridor with their eyes up.
ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteGreat to experience being "under water" with the Chihuly glass forms!
ReplyDeleteThese are fascinating. There is something similar but bigger (I think) at the Chihuly Museum in Seattle. And then there's the ceiling of the lobby of the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
ReplyDeleteThat must be awesome to see.
