Dahlia Season at Elizabeth Park

 I went back to Elizabeth Park during a quick visit to Hartford and West Hartford.




September is always dahlia season at the park.

A pretty bride-to-be was there to have her wedding photos taken.

The annual garden still looked good at the end of its run.

    Gorgeous flowers...I was impressed how many blossoms are blooming together, then noticed the plants have a bunch of stems in the ground, supporting one another. I never knew that about Dahlias!
