A fine place from which to relax and view the lake.
Thank you to those who asked and those who expressed concern about my Naples house and Hurricane Ian. I am still in Connecticut. Friends in SWFL say that trees and branches are down in my community, the waters are high in the roads and lakes, and power is out, but so far I have not heard about water entering any houses in my community or injury to people or damage to houses. It is still early. Like everyone who is not in Florida now, I worry about the widespread devastation and I await specific information about my house.
Very pleasant.
ReplyDeleteAmbient and soothing
ReplyDeleteA very peaceful view, Jack. I'm glad your southern place seems to have escaped the water.
ReplyDeleteJack, here is wishing you well with your Florida home. My Florida friends are currently visiting relatives in other states, so they are safe. Hope Naples is north of the worst of the storm. Love the tranquil reflections in your photo today.
ReplyDeleteGreat lake view from New England. Sad to see how the water fronts in west FL have been impacted...and then further north on the Gulf, just power outages. And some trees down of course.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tranquil view - a far cry from that devastating storm in Florida. I was wondering about your house too and relieved to note you're still 'up North'. Houses can be repaired; with people, it's sometimes harder!
ReplyDeleteI like how those chairs are situated, looks like a good peaceful spot.
