A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida (Naples) and southwest Connecticut (Ridgefield) and New England and other places he goes.
Driving in South Salem, New York, I braked hard when I came across a flock of turkeys.
Very well behaved. They didn't leave their yard. An "Invisible Fence"?
A bit Alien like.
Strange looking creatures.
Amazing they look like ancient dinosaur relatives, and then I remember how delicious they can be!
Domestic turkeys are so strange looking. We also have wild turkeys around here, but they are very illusive.
They look so ungainly.
It will be moving on toward November. They might want to be thinking about that invisible fence, being domestics.
