Peonies

 

Back in Connecticut.  I wondered if I would miss the peony season, but at least in my yard the peonies are just now opening up and starting to put on their annual show.  Some overnight rain freshened them.

    Gorgeous! We love peonies, too, and have them in a variety of colors.

    Jack, I greatly enjoyed your Iberian adventure. Thank you for taking us along. As a kid our house was surrounded by peonies, and I have always loved these beautiful flowers, so they are a perfect subject for your camera.
