Let's see more cars from the Revs Institute in Naples, this time without a lot of explanatory text. Anyone captivated by specific cars can look them up in the Revs "View The Cars" pages.
This 1954 Osca, built in Italy by the Maserati brothers and driven by Sterling Moss, was a surprise winner at the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1954.

ReplyDeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeleteWow, some really fine classic cars here.
ReplyDeleteAs a teenager in 1958 I worked in the pits with a Ferrari team owned by James Johnson. I believe we came in seventy overall. I have read about some of the cars in your photos in magazines over the years. Unfortunately the Johnson Ferrari was lost in a fire a few years later. It was probably the most sucessful racing Ferrari in the U.S. at the time.
ReplyDeleteVery impressive, they remind me of the speed racer cartoon
