Louise Nevelson

In the second half of the 20th century, Ukraine-born Louise Nevelson was a noted creator of huge, complex, environmental sculptures, usually black.  She built Dawn's Forest, a massive (and white) composition for Georgia Pacific.  It has found its way to the interior public areas of Artis Naples.

  2. She was obviously a most creative sculptor. Thank you for introducing her to me.

  3. I love her work...saw an installation at a museum in the 80's in NY. Such creativity in wood...those were unpainted wood.

  4. I've never heard of her but I do like any type of art that's different from anything else.
