I went to an amazing exhibition of pumpkins last week at Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. So many pumpkins! Such creativity! Such fun! I'll start today with single pumpkin heads, carved much better than I carve pumpkin heads.
And a couple of complex figures carved from multiple pumpkins.
And the field of pumpkin heads that greets visitors as they enter the park.
Very impressive.
ReplyDeleteOh the squirrels will be in seventh heaven! But the carvings are incredible!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWow, look what artists can do when they get their hands of a few hundred pumpkins. Impressive.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing thing to see. Those pumpkins are carved beautifully but I was really impressed with that pumpkin blaze in the first photo. What a clever idea. I love it.
ReplyDeleteSo different from the ones we did when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAll of those are really impressive, it's a pity we don't get into it here.
