A juvenile brown pelican showed up in my community's lake. Along with its reflection.

Even though we are close to the Gulf of Mexico, we don't often see them here.
They have a strong preference for the coast and rarely visit inland lakes.
They may look ungainly, but they are tremendously appealing.

ReplyDeleteLovely photos and I used to love seeing a long line of them flying along the east coast of FL. I guess they did the same on the west coast, but I didn't get to see them there.
