Heron and Fish


I watched a great blue heron across the small pond in Elizabeth Park, too far to photograph well.  
He dove, grabbed a small fish, and circled the pond to show me his meal.

    Not good news for the fish, but the Blue Heron is happy. Great action shot. These Herons are around here in summer, but they are hard to get close enough for a photo being so skittish.
