Want to See a Fortune in Naples?
This large empty lot on Fifth Avenue South is not for sale. Whoever owns it
is sitting on multiples of millions of dollars for the land alone.
It is one house from Naples Beach, at the west end of Naples' best street for restaurants, shops, parades, festivals and some upscale residences, yet far enough away from the parts of Fifth Avenue that are jammed with tourists and people watchers.
I like that shadow of the palm tree. I wonder if it has been in someone's family for years and they have so much money that they just pay the taxes and never think about it or maybe they plan to build on it someday.
Interesting that both you and Tanya feature tree shadows. Like your composition here. Mark Twain thought land was a fine investment because they were not making it any more.
You make it sound so charming... and it really does look charming.
ReplyDeleteWhoever owns it they seem to have enough funds to pay someone to cut the grass.
ReplyDeleteSpeculators?

ReplyDeleteHopefully it's not built on for some time to come.
ReplyDeleteI often wonder about property like this. Someone is paying the annual property taxes!
ReplyDeleteMaybe someone has some plans, it is in the perfect location. Nice palm tree shadow.
