Harriet and her mate M15 are the stars of an eagle cam at Pritchett Real Estate in North Ft. Myers.
Harriet hatched two eaglets in the days after Christmas. I drove up to see what I could see.
M15 preened and posed atop a dead tree near the access road to the Pritchett property.
A long zoom lens, big picture files and heavy cropping give us a nice view of M15.

Harriet and the eaglets stayed in the nest, low enough that I couldn't see them.
There are three eagle cams. Camera 1 is above the nest and visible in this image.
M15 is very photogenic.
ReplyDeleteHandsome fellow. Deserves a better name.
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome shots Jack. Great job. MI5 is a handsome devil.
ReplyDeleteHe certainly looks quite distinguished.
ReplyDeleteMom has just finished feeding the babies now. It was great seeing this. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link to the nest, Jack! Great pics!
ReplyDeleteHe is a proud looking bird, very impressive. Great shots, Jack!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous bird - and super sharp shots.
ReplyDeleteMajestic creatures
ReplyDeleteThose are great shots, Jack. Makes me want to try to do some Eagle watching along the lower Connecticut River this year.
ReplyDeleteYou have a great lens, a sturdy tripod and good editing skills.
ReplyDeleteThere are eagles near the Mississippi's first lock and dam just north of here from now until March. At the moment there is so much ice in the river they can't feed, sending them further south. I should get myself up there when there is a thaw.
Gorgeous shots! I'll have to go back to my webcam link and take a look in real time. I expect to do some eagle watching at the Skagit River next week. A great way to start out a new year.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures, Jack !
ReplyDeleteMagnificent creature Jack!
ReplyDeleteAwesome shots, Jack! I stopped by the nest for a peek at the eaglets over the weekend, but no luck.
