Kathleen describes herself as an Iowa farm girl who taught school for 130 years. When she retired, Kathleen and her daughter decided to live somewhere they could wear flip flops year round.
So, they moved to Naples, got a franchise, and opened up a Spice and Tea Exchange store.
Walking past when the door is open, it is pretty hard to resist following the scents inside.
Ha ha, I'm not going to state my position on flip-flops, but I can understand their wish to live in a warmer climate.
ReplyDeleteWoke up to an inch of new snow this morning. Warmth and flip-flop weather is highly appealing. Love spice shops.
ReplyDeleteIt is going up to +16˚C here today which is fabulous for November but I sure understand the desire to head south for the winter. I think I need a cuppa right now, Jack!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I love a good spice store. The smells are incredible.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine the scents in there.
ReplyDeleteA visit to their shop sounds lovely. My Kentucky teacher's retirement is tanking...buying a franchise and starting fresh sounds good!
ReplyDeleteWhat a COOL life...
