Guest Photographer: The Girls

Hazel's eight month birthday was Saturday.  I was in Naples,
so daughter Susie sent a photograph to make me feel like I was there.

And Ridgefield, Connecticut, has an annual Halloween Walk down Main Street.
Willa wanted to be a dinosaur, so Susie modified a green sweatshirt.

Hazel can't pick her own costume yet, so Susie chose for her.  Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
Complete with gavel.  Susie favors strong women.  Willa was Rosie the Riveter at Hazel's age.

  2. No. Ruth Bader Ginsburg is an excellent Justice of the United States Supreme Court, revered by those on the left of the political spectrum and generally respected by those on the right even if they do not agree with all of her votes.

  3. Regarding your comment in yesterday's post, Thanksgiving in Canada has been officially celebrated since 1879, and its roots go back to the explorer Martin Frobisher who celebrated a service of Thanksgiving during his time around Baffin Island in the 1570s.

  4. Those are great costumes for fine looking girls. Ruth Bader Ginsberg has always been at the top my list of Supreme Court justices.

  5. I don't think dinosaurs (or even Supreme Court judges) have ever looked so sweet.

  7. Thank you, Susie, for the updated photos. The dinosaur costume was certainly clever enough but Ruth Bader Ginsberg takes the cake. Thanks for the smiles.
