It was market day in St. Remy-en-Provence. The locals and tourists turned out in force.
Honey

Hats
Nougat
And more nougat
Van Gogh posters and stuff. After cutting off his ear, Vincent Van Gogh spent from May 1889 to May 1890 at Saint-Paul de Mausole psychiatric hospital in St. Remy-en-Provence,
where he painted some of his finest works.
Looks like a full inventory market. It would be tempting to buy more than you need! Reminds me that I need some more honey!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! So many things to see and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteObviously a good deal of nougat to be found!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I would have found something I needed to take home.
ReplyDeleteI guess since you are hiking you wouldn't want to buy anything heavy! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI might have made a few purchases here....
ReplyDeleteLocal honey would be nice, though not if you're hiking and have to carry it.
ReplyDeleteI love these markets in out of the way places, but the goods on offer don't vary all that much.
ReplyDeleteI think I need some nougat. And then maybe some more nougat.
ReplyDeleteThe market looks like fun. I hope you found something worth buying.
