The Universe is on the Side of Justice
Hartford artists and muralists Tao and Amy LaBoissiere planned this mural and led teams of volunteers in painting it on the back of a community building on Hartford's Farmington Avenue.
It is the third of three Hartford murals decrying violence.
I like it. The never ending flow of water leads to very colourful flowers that are pleasing to the eyes. Justice and denouncing violence is needed so much in today's world.
The theme and images of this mural no doubt spark many important conversations. I especially like that it was a community effort. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

ReplyDeleteI trust the sentiment is right. It's a nice picture and certainly improves the blank building.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good concept depicted in a very pretty way, and even better that it was a community endeavour, nice one Jack!

ReplyDeleteThat is a perfect subject for a mural project!
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely and most appropriate mural. Excellent topic to ponder and act upon!
ReplyDeleteVery nice mural with that floating water and flowers.
ReplyDeleteIt's very beautiful and avoids being trite.
ReplyDeleteAll the more important these days.
ReplyDeleteLove it, Jack!
