Walking toward the light through the lobby of Hotel Indigo in Fort Myers, I spotted a man and woman whose body language I liked. Yes, there are some light red bricks,
but on the whole the image reads like a black and white.
That is the March theme for City Daily Photo bloggers: "Black and White in Color."
A color photograph that looks like a black and white.
A little slash of red brick looks super.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good one! I like they way they are standing.
ReplyDeleteFine silhouette. Your are right about the body language. He is quite interested in her, but she is not really into him.

ReplyDeleteThere is an air of a mystery to this scenario; good material for lots of creative ideas.
great catch! yes, he looks quite interested, her not so much!
ReplyDeleteNice one, Jack! There's a story there.
ReplyDeleteWhat colour there is here, is largely muted. I do like the body language. We can just imagine the conversation.
ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea shooting from inside Jack, must remember that!
ReplyDeleteA good photo for the theme. I like the spot of color the brick provides.
ReplyDeleteI like it Jack. It is a great choice for the theme!
ReplyDeleteJack, I think you described the photo perfectly. Its appeal is in the silhouette framing and the interaction between the two characters. His stance is directly facing her, and yet her body is at right angles to his. Only her head is turned toward him. My guess is that she has the upper hand.
ReplyDeleteGreat lines and angles as well.

Good shot! It leaves me wanting to see shots after this moment passes...What was the rest of the story with these people?
ReplyDeleteGreat image, it looks like a film scene!
ReplyDeleteNice shot. Now you've got us all wondering about their interaction. :)
ReplyDeleteMy take: She seems to be a little mad at him and he's trying to persuade her not to be angry.
ReplyDeleteThe photo indeed tells a story, for each of us to interpret. Nice work.
ReplyDeleteVery well seen, this really does tell a story.
ReplyDeleteSometimes an image can say more than 1000 words....
ReplyDeleteI like this.
The composition and darknes is great.
