I have shown the inside of the museum many times before. Here is part of the outside.
It is across the street from yesterday's house.
Decorated trees picked up something from the art in the galleries in which they were placed.
This one picked up on the snow scene.
Easy to see why this bright red tree was in a room devoted to Thomas Hart Benson.
Love the hat topping the tree.
This one picked up the 19th century style and the woman's fan.
And, this one echoed the Chihuly chandelier in the stairwell.
Great tree and room decor match up... and perfect photography.
ReplyDeleteThese are all beautifully done but, I LOVE the Chihuly one!
ReplyDeleteI like them all, Jack!
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous decor - those co-ordinating Christmas trees are gorgeous - i love them all
ReplyDeleteWow how beautiful they all are! I'm hoping to get over to our museum over Christmas break!
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderfully creative trees, what a treat - as well as the wonderful art.
ReplyDeleteBenson's art particularly catches my eye.
ReplyDeleteThe Thomas Hart Benton mural is spectacular. Such a distinctive and immediately recognizable style.
ReplyDeleteThe Chihulys look as if they're picking up the colors and bare branches of the trees beyond the window. And the Thomas Hart Benton murals, the room they're in, and the tree, are all gorgeous.
