A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida (Naples) and southwest Connecticut (Ridgefield) and New England and other places he goes.
isn't it amazing how this was just instinct for them? we would have to take a class to learn how to make something like it!
I think I would enjoy this museum. I could compare eastern native American traditions with western.

I love a good museum.
I tried "throwing pots" last year; I should have tried the coil method instead.
This reminds me of pot shards I found near Indian ruins in the Southwest. The area (Chaco Canyon) had been abandoned probably 1,000 years ago but the shards still had imprints of fingerprints on them. An unexpected human connection.
