The American Museum of Tort Law is on Winsted's main street. It was closed so I couldn't go inside.
The museum was founded a year or two ago by Ralph Nader, lawyer, gadfly and one-time Presidential candidate. Nader grew up in the small, out-of-the-way Connecticut city of Winsted.
And I thought the Pencil Museum in Keswick was a strange idea. (Actually it was surprisingly interesting).
ReplyDeletewhat a tease! ;)
ReplyDeleteAs niche concepts go, this museum might well take the cake!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine what might be displayed inside. You will have to return one day.
ReplyDeleteI went to a safety match museum in Sweden - that was interesting actually. Not sure what would be in Nader's museum!
ReplyDeleteThe Museum of Tort Law must be a very unusual institution. Would not think violations of civil law would make for much great museum material.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry it was closed. I hope you were able to console yourself in other esoteric ways.
ReplyDeleteNader's still around?!
