A Canada goose convention was held earlier in the week in Filley Park, near the center of Bloomfield.

This was yesterday, in West Hartford.

  2. Wonderful image! They sure know how to pick a lovely spot for a convention and looks like it was well attended.

  3. The ground cover is compete; there is no green visible! Is it a gaggle of geese; guess I should look that up.

  6. A lot of leaves on the ground. I think the geese are all gone from here now. I haven't seen any overhead in at least four days, and haven't heard them out on the water either.

  7. We still have some geese around here but it is time for them to be heading south with the rest of you snowbirds! Nice pics for fall, Jack!
Did the dogs move from S. Africa too?

  8. Did these geese miss their call for the flight to warmer climates? Beautiful shot.

  9. Gotta love those geese! The carpet of leaves is impressive too. (Having just returned to Australia from 7 weeks on Vancouver Island, those gorgeous rich autumnal colours experienced there were a feast for the eyes!
