Almost TOO much to see. I would need several days in this museum in order to appreciate and enjoy its collection. The windows and the arched ceiling in the top photo are as interesting as the art pieces. What a joy to have these pieces of art available for the general public to see . I hope that there is no admission charge (like the MIA here in the Twin Cities) or at least free admission days so that all economic classes of people can enjoy!
What a nice museum with some interesting collections. I didn't realize that you are allowed to take photos inside. Lots of museums that I been in do not allow it.
What a diverse collection at the Museum. Your last photo came as a surprise after looking at the others. Interesting post. I understand why you shut off comments yesterday. I do my best to keep my photo blog non-political, but I am glad to see there are demonstrations of solidarity for the Orlando victims. There is one tomorrow evening in our home town also.
Wonderful series of posts on the Yale Museum Jack, as Bob said above beautifully shown here. Sometimes I think the way art is presented in a gallery is almost as important as the art itself.
