The club house at Pelican Bay, one of the biggest and oldest communities in North Naples.
They are tearing it down to replace it with a bigger, two story clubhouse costing $18 million.
On a side street in Everglades City, I came across a bus for Outward Bound and a sign telling us that this is the site of the North Carolina Outward Bound program. I did an Outward Bound program

ReplyDeletei like the this and that series...now that's a lot of crickets in one location!
ReplyDeleteThere is lots to admire in that area. Well maybe except for the crickets.
ReplyDeleteIbsen's quite timely, and those crickets are big!

That's quite an amalgamation of this and that! How do you file your photos so you keep track of everything? Date? Subject? Love those directional signs on Sanibel!
ReplyDeleteI've always thought it would be fun to have a direction sign to all the places I would like to go to or have been to. That is a lot of crickets, Jack!
ReplyDeleteGreat title and a nice series. I never knew crickets could be so big.
ReplyDeleteGreat post and pics for the day -- as always, Jack!! Good to visit your blog again and good to be back home in Oregon!! Hope you have a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteQuite a collection of odds and ends that are fun to look at. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteInteresting posting, so different, but the colourful signs made me stop:)
ReplyDeleteThe crickets must have something they like at the second hole. Interesting collection of photos.
