We interrupt winter in Florida (and travels to wherever) to bring you a June image from the Elizabeth Park Rose Garden in Hartford, Connecticut. Even though I am now a Florida resident and my time in Connecticut is reduced with every passing year, I have always loved the two block walk
to Elizabeth Park to see what beauty will await me.
City Daily Photo bloggers today will be showing photographs of where they belong,
Not to mention all the fab portrait shots you've taken on that two mile walk Jack, perfect choice!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteFantastic photo; I am not surprised that you chose Elizabeth Park, based on many of your previous posts.
ReplyDeletePerfect Jack. If I lived there this would be a place I'd visit often too.
ReplyDeleteFabulous garden! I could belong there:)
ReplyDeleteI do SO agree with the others, Jack!! The perfect place it is indeed!! Enjoy your time away!!
ReplyDeleteIt is a gorgeous park, Jack... well worth photographing in many seasons.
ReplyDeleteI see why you love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous park and to be able to visit it frequently, Priceless!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful park, in evey season.
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely a romantic, Jack !
Who wouldn't want to belong here?! Lovely, Jack. I was wondering which way you would go with theme day. P.S. Yes -- my heart belongs to Sparty and my blood runs green, but I cannot tolerate the perpetual overcast skies in East Lansing, MI -- one of the cloudiest places in the nation.
ReplyDeleteI knew it!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your away!
So gorgeous! What other choice would there be for your "Heimat" Jack. :)
ReplyDeleteJust what I needed to see today!
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing your pictures of this beautiful garden Jack. Safe travels!

ReplyDeleteA perfect post for you, Jack! You have shown us so many lovely pics from there.
ReplyDeleteI remember your many photographs from this Park. Always a pleasure to see and it is lovely to know it really is a special place for you too.
ReplyDeleteI want to spread out a rug and open my picnic basket on the grass and after sate my thirst and hunger, lie down and read a book for a couple of hours. Easy to see why I love your spot.
