Yesterday I went to Art in the Park, a small tented art show in Olde Naples.
Guy Tieman must think in circles and rectangles. He was originally a glassmaker, but for the last year he has been painting and constructing these colorful rectangles with
colored rods inserted into rectangular pockets.
colored rods inserted into rectangular pockets.
He looks like a cool dude!
ReplyDeletePS: We will be in Fort Meyers/Naples area. Any golf courses that you recommend?
I think there is still an element of the glass work in Guys work Jack, I can see those pieces created in glass!
ReplyDeleteWell, to each his own. I'm glad he's keeping busy and I hope he sells much of his art, but it isn't my style. Not that that matters at all! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's unusual, but I like it.
ReplyDeleteIt's a very attractive design. I hope he does well with these.
ReplyDeleteI really like them, Jack! I've seen some great art shows down there in other years.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen anything like that.
ReplyDeleteUnusual, but pleasing to the eye, I think.
ReplyDeleteI like these. It's giving me some "do it yourself" ideas.
ReplyDeleteNice portrait!
What a great background for a portrait of the artist!
ReplyDeleteSome lovely colours but they wouldn't suit my style.
ReplyDeleteI like his look. Handsome guy, tropical whites with a bit of pale blue stripe, self-confident. But, perhaps, could he use some new ideas?
ReplyDeleteI agree with Gracie; sure reminds me of glass work!
