This well maintained Tudor home on the Hartford side of Prospect Avenue looks good in all seasons.
I photographed it in its Christmas dress on a snowy day in 2012. The Christmas decor this year is identical, a centered wreath above the central window and paired wreaths under the side windows.

ReplyDeleteI do love a good tudor house and this is one of the best I've seen.
ReplyDeleteVery restrained decorations for such a showy residence.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Tudor architecture! Perfectly taken care of.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Tudor house it is indeed, Jack!! And definitely well taken care of!! Too bad more homes aren't cared like this one! Great capture for the day as always!! Hope you have a wonderful holiday week!! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThese folks not only have a beautiful home, but they also have great taste. I've never understood the need people feel to covering their homes in lights and Christmas displays. This decoration is perfect.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more, but that central wreath with the windows above and below looks like the nose on a cartoon face.
ReplyDeleteHow an inspired idea becomes a tradition.
ReplyDeleteIt looks gorgeous in the snow...and fine, too, without it. Gorgeous home.
