Buttoned-Down Beauty

This well maintained Tudor home on the Hartford side of Prospect Avenue looks good in all seasons.
I photographed it in its Christmas dress on a snowy day in 2012.    The Christmas decor this year is identical, a centered wreath above the central window and paired wreaths under the side windows.
Why mess with a good thing?

  7. These folks not only have a beautiful home, but they also have great taste. I've never understood the need people feel to covering their homes in lights and Christmas displays. This decoration is perfect.

  8. Couldn't agree more, but that central wreath with the windows above and below looks like the nose on a cartoon face.
