For years, Avon Cider Mill was the place to go in autumn for pumpkins, apples, chrysanthemums, cider and pies. But, a couple of years ago, the property was sold to a developer.
Good news! Avon Cider Mill is now sharing space on Nod Road with
The Pickin' Patch (a pick-it-yourself vegetable farm) and the crowds are bigger than ever.
Great colourful shots. Apart from Halloween week you see very few pumpkins for sale over here - I don't think many people know that you can actually eat them!
ReplyDeletelove all the pinks in the second shot!
ReplyDeleteLoyal patrons obviously have remained fans of the business.
ReplyDeleteCider. That reminds me. I have some bourbon I have to get rid of... tasty.
ReplyDeleteGreat, colorful captures and beautiful blue skies for a backdrop!! Hope you're enjoying a great day!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is that time of the year.
ReplyDeleteThat appears to be a wonderful and fun place. Love the way you composed the photos. And I'm very glad to hear that Avon Cider Mill remains in business!
ReplyDeleteReminds me so much of my trip two years ago when I visited a cider mill. Your cider, though, is non-alcoholic, here we call it apple juice!
ReplyDeleteYAY! It's great that the Avon Cider Mill has found a new home and is thriving. It's certainly a colourful place.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful place, even only for some nice photos!
ReplyDeleteProbably good for both their businesses!
ReplyDeleteForget the pumpkins and flowers, I'll have an apple pie, please. Love the colors in your photos. Glad a place like this still exists.
ReplyDeletethe flowers really stand out!
ReplyDeleteI'll take a couple of doughnuts with my pumpkins, please.
