Emma

Emma came to the States five years ago from Sweden to attend college in California.  She is now in
a graduate program in philosophy at the University of Connecticut.  Emma hopes to find
an academic position when she gets her Ph.D. in three years, but, if not,
she is thinking about journalism or maybe a job involving ethics.

  15. Well, there are some jobs in ethics, certainly in law and medicine. Perhaps she can charm her way into the position.

  18. Hmm, not often you see journalism and ethics in the same sentence - sadly.
