Mike was sitting on an Elizabeth Park bench with a Nikon camera and a BIG lens.
He is retired on disability after a career as a "Jack of all trades."
Now, he likes to take photographs, but -- like me and maybe like you -- he has so many
photographs it is hard to find the ones he wants.
Great capture!
ReplyDeleteHello Mike:-)
ReplyDeleteAll the way from Norway.
What a nice portrait !
That problem is easily remedied... take more portraits like this one.
ReplyDeleteYup! I thought I had a good filing system until I tried to find a particular photo.
ReplyDeleteA very good portrait, I am sure he will like it!
ReplyDeleteDid you share war stories and photographs?
ReplyDeleteHello Mike. That can be tricky sometimes.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot for the day as always, Jack!! Hope your new week is off to a good start and that you're enjoying being back in Hartford!
ReplyDeleteYes I do have a 'Mike' problem, way too many photos and a non existing order system :) Really good portrait, Mike looks wonderfully relaxed.
ReplyDeleteNice smile!
ReplyDeleteNice portrait, Jack! I am semi organized.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like quite a character.
ReplyDeleteHe is looking right down the lens. Really like this!
ReplyDeleteGood crop, full of personality. But there must be more to the story. How did a retired handyman on disability (which doesn't pay much) afford a Nikon with a big lens?
ReplyDeleteNice shot.
ReplyDeleteHe looks rested and pretty content.
ReplyDeleteHe seems very proud of himself, I'm sure he is a good photographer.
ReplyDeleteHe looks very friendly and approachable.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a nice guy!
ReplyDeleteGood portrait!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if that's a new freelance occupation: digital photographic librarian?
