Winnie and her mother Carmelita are from Mexico. They make colorful jewelry that they sell
in flea markets and crafts shows. Winnie is wearing a necklace she made.
Winnie also has a regular Saturday night gig singing in the lounge
of the Ritz Carlton hotel in Naples.
Nice shots!
ReplyDeleteGosh mother and daughter are so alike, a pair of Mexican beauties.
ReplyDeleteYes, portrait photography has me intimidated. These are lovely shots and I like the little bit of backstory that you include with your portraits. If you are a FB follower, are you aware of the Humans of New York page? If not, check it out. Another take on portraits and mini biographies. It's my favorite FB site (next to CDP, of course!)
ReplyDeleteMore lovely ladies -- a pair of Mexican beauties they are indeed!! Great shots as always, Jack! Such a great way to start my day! Hope you have a wonderful day/weekend! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteWhat necklace?
ReplyDeleteThey look so much alike, Jack! Winnie can see what she will look like when she gets older! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI've chatted with Winnie at a local coffee shop; she's a beautiful young woman. You've captured her beauty quite nicely, Jack, as well as Carmelita's! What striking ladies they are!
ReplyDeleteStrong portraits. One of my aunts is named Winnie.
ReplyDeleteLovely ladies.
ReplyDeleteRedPat nailed my sentiments. Excellent portraits; I like the background. And it's striking how similarly they both looked into your camera. Lovely ladies.
ReplyDeleteI hope your wife doesn't get jealous of you always photographing these attractive ladies around town. Another set of great portraits, Jack!
ReplyDeleteFabulous portraits, Jack!
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful women!
ReplyDeleteLovely portraits of impressive ladies!
