Arthur is a good-natured guy. He rolls his motorized wheelchair up and down the main streets of Naples, with a flag sign reading:
"Information 5 cents,
Correct Information $1."
I asked Arthur how often people pay him for advice. He smiled and said, "Never."
Arthur is originally from Chicago. These days he splits the year between
Chicago and Naples.
AND, Arthur wears a sharp Panama hat, much like the ones I wear, except better.
We spent some time discussing where he orders his hats. I am going to
give his hat seller a try.
Every city and town should have an Arthur. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is great!
ReplyDeleteI hope you paid him for his 'hat advice' Jack :)
ReplyDeleteWith our General Election in full swing we could do with some honest answers over here. I fear it may cost us more than 5c to find out who's lying.
ReplyDeleteVery funny! Love his humour. :-)
ReplyDeleteArthur has a very charming smile! I love his flag!
ReplyDeleteLots of funny old guys in them thar parts. Re your comment on Ocala: The wall was not leaning. Did you have too much wine? Heh, heh!

ReplyDeletei admire people who are able to rise above diversity. I often wonder if I could show the same kind of strength.
ReplyDeleteHis pup looks comfy.
ReplyDeleteYou can get false information almost anywhere on the Web for free. Maybe that competition has undercut his market.
