Do you sometimes accumulate a bunch of photos that don't scream loudly enough for their own post?
A random wheel.
A flash mob.
An anhinga in need of a haircut.
A perplexing façade.
And a row of metal palm trees.
No, sorry, I can't explain them either.
Random shots, yes, but each one had me looking at it and exploring the sights.

They have lot in common: they're weird , funny , interesting , and made by you !Finally , an amazing post !
ReplyDeleteHa, I have seen metal palm trees way up here (at gas stations) but never would have guessed you have them way down there! I can't explain them in either place but, then, I don't get artificial flowers, either. :)
ReplyDeleteA random collection of interesting shots. Perfect entries for Wordless Wednesdays, too.
ReplyDeleteFun set!
ReplyDeleteHowever they make a great set
ReplyDeleteNice series of pictures Jack. Love the flash mob, but those metal palm trees have me confused.
ReplyDeleteOh, what fun pics to start my weekend, Jack!! Florida is the last place I would expect to find metal palm trees??? What a hoot!! I do love these!! Enjoy your weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI could use a metal Palm tree to sit under up here, Jack!
ReplyDeleteRandom and whimsical, Jack!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful bunch of photos, Jack !
ReplyDeleteLove the 1st one and the anhinga.
Yes, I do accumulate these kinds of photos. I love your selection.
ReplyDeleteAll these photos have their strengths. Love the graphic quality and reflections on the chrome wheel. The metal palm trees are odd, especially with their broken leaves.
ReplyDeleteI guess we all accumulate random shots. This is a fun collection. The only metal trees I've seen here are communications towers made to look (a bit) like trees.
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm scratching my head at all of these.
ReplyDeleteI like your idea of gathering these random pics together as 'odds and ends'. I would consider doing something similar, but I tend to forget about photos that can't stand on their own. What to do?! You gathered a fine mishmash. I particularly like the partial standing wall. Interesting, indeed.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree Jack. I often think a great theme would be 'Random Shots Sunday' :) Your randoms are super fun, art needs no explanation :)
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of shots like this!
ReplyDeleteThe metal palm trees might be cell phone towers in disguise. Love the bird with the messy "hair".
Fun shots! The anhinga looks familiar although we don't have them around here.
ReplyDeleteI like the fake facade the best. The back lot at MGM comes to south Florida.
