Masks
Carnevale masks from Venice found in Casanova, a wonderful Naples store in the Village on Venetian Bay, which carries Murano glass, paintings and masks. You have seen it before here.
These are great!

pretty and nice work.
Lovely details on those masks.
ReplyDeleteWhy are these so familiar to me? :)
ReplyDeleteI do love the details and what beautiful masks!! You do find the best things to photograph! Hope your week is off to a great start, Jack! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThinking of Venice, Jack? They are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNo need to fly back to Italy , you have everything there !
ReplyDeleteSo appealing, aren't they? I slightly regret I didn't buy one in Venice...but then again, it would look a bit silly in this Victorian cottage.
ReplyDeleteAll that and they look expensive. Which way to Madi Gras 2016?
ReplyDeleteVery fashionable, and I can imagine expensive, too.
ReplyDeleteWow -- incredible pieces of art. I wonder if anyone actually wears them...at Mardi Gras?
ReplyDeleteDo people wear/use them? They look like pieces of art.
ReplyDeleteI love masks and Carnavale masks are always so elaborate. Beautiful!!
