Sunset on Rookery Bay


Recently I took a sunset cruise on Rookery Bay with the Conservancy of Southwest Florida,
an environmental organization.  The sky was relatively cloudless that night, so the
sunset was fairly so-so.  But, the boat's wake added some interest.

    Both the boat's wake and the trees' reflections combine to add interest to the color of the sky and water.

    Been there. This is one of the nicest photos I've seen of it. You captured that wake perfectly and the muted colors make it an especially artistic photo!

    Oh, that's beautiful, so serene. Reminds me of T S Eliot; 'Let us go then you and I, when the evening is spread out against the sky...' - though that develops in a much less picturesque way.
